I have stocks from Feb. 16th to today. The first folder I'm sorting through has 448 pictures in it. Lets estimate 3k pictures (I'm shutter happy)and I usually get 20 good ones for every hundred. I'm guessing I'm not uploading 600 stocks. I hope I'm not...
So yeah, if you haven't guessed, this is a warning. You might want to turn on your Sort-By-Sender feature so you can just delete by mass uploads.
On another note, I've noticed problems people have had with stocks and my own lack of rules. So no one can say I didn't say this somewhere:
You don't have to ask to use one of my stocks, just credit in the comments and send me a link to your work either by commenting on the photo in question or a note. I prefer comments.
If you would like to use my stocks for commercial work or in galleries (it happened for one of my earlies stocks) ask me first and we'll talk it over. I'll probably say yes, but just in case, plus I like to know.
If you would like to sell a print containing one of my stocks, please ask me and I would really, really like a copy. I get that DA is $$$ with their prints, but there are always kinkos and such. I do understand that money is tight and such so you don't have too, but I would really, really like it. Really.
If you would like to use a picture using one of my stocks on another site (Gaia, ect) ask me and you'll most likely get a yes.
If you have any questions or concerns, just ask!
ALSO: I know squat about photography, specifically what makes a good photograph (especially stocks). If you would like to share ANY of your wisdom, please, please do.
Edit: Going backwards, I'm at 330 of 448. Only 15 uploads form those. I'm getting better. Right?
